RF Headphones - Wireless Anyone?

What are RF headphones and how are they used ? If the Rf headphones are right for you ?

RF Headphones are commonly known as wireless headphones. The RF abbreviation stands for radio frequency. What this means is your headphones have a transmitter and receiver which emit radio waves to transmit the sound all around your home. It is like having a mini radio station in your house and only you can receive its transmissions. The wonderful thing about wireless headsets is the absence of wires and the freedom to roam your house and take your music with you. The trade-off here is that you’ll need to power the headphones with batteries. Get yourself two sets of rechargeable batteries and you won’t have to think about this issue ever again.

Wireless headphones are available with various technological ability. There are types that utilize light to make sound. These are known as IR (infrared light). The trouble with this type is they they only function where you can see the transmitter light, for instance in just one room. For complete freedom, you must have radio waves. Several types of RF headphones can be used with bluetooth. If you have a laptop or a notebook with the ability to use a bluetooth adapter, you can attach it to your computer and hear music using wireless headphones. Typically bluetooth is used for cell phones. A telephone headset commonly has bluetooth. This doesn't indicate that this technology can't be utilized for music. There is definitely enough range.

For freedom of range and motion, nothing beats a good set of RF headphones. You can take them out to the pool and listen to your favorite music outside while enjoying the sun. You can use them outside while gardening or simply relaxing on your favorite chair. You want to exercise outside and listen to music? No problem, these headphones can do that for you. Once you get used to the freedom of walking and doing things in and around your house without wires, you’ll think of tons of things to do. I personally find that music relaxes me and clears my mind. When I have to do something I don’t want to do, music helps the day go faster.
